This wired USB headset would mainly suit a desktop, but would be compatible with a select few handsets (E.G. Yealink T5 series), if you are unsure, feel free to give us a call or send us an email and our staff will gladly check for you.
Positives
This is a simple, plug & play solution for those who don’t want to splash out much on a headset for intermittent or occasional use with a PC and mobile. The microphone boom rotates so can be worn on either side. The 30II UC model has soft leatherette ear cushions for all day comfort and a travel pouch to keep it safe when not in use.
This Evolve has inline controls when in use with the computer to allow you to answer & release calls as well as adjust volume and mute the microphone. Specially designed for today’s softphones it is certified for use with Yealink and PC Suite (Jabra software) allows it to be used with most modern softphones. It has DSP to optimise music and suppress echoes and has wideband Hi-Fi sound.
Things to consider
If you are in a busy office and the addition of an online indicator (a light on the side of the headset that shows others when you are on a call) would be a handy addition for you then check out the Jabra evolve 40 UC.
As with any corded headset, with the Evolve 30, you are tied to your phone via a cable, this can be frustrating when wires lie across your desk and get in the way of papers or drop down and get crushed and tangled under chair wheels. If your work requires that you get up from your desk (whether on a call or not) you’ll need to unclip the headset or take it off each time & reclip/put it back on when you return. If you do this often, a wireless headset could save you time, hassle (and hair!).

The Jabra Evolve 30 is an affordable plug and play solution for USB softphones and selected headsets at work, as well as having just one headset to use at work with your softphone and on your way home to listen to music from your mobile phone.
